Longbeach Cafe in Longboat Key

Visiting family and they recommended this diner. We sat outside. Had great service and a great breakfast.

This restaurant is my mom's favorite restaurant! Wonderful service tasty food. We sat outside ,near the bayou, and a manatee swam up and poked its head out of water!! Ambiance!!

Good parking, OK bathroom. Daily specials in a true local cafe. Vintage 60s-70s soundtrack. Some outdoor seating. Food is fine and not much more expensive than fast food.

Loved the omelet special but the latte was definitely not worth $5.75. I had 3/4 foam and about 1/4 cup latte. Will order regular coffee next time for sure

Fantastic Food - Friendly service. Portions were generous and exactly what we were looking for. They have a wide selection of hot sauces and the servers were just wonderful. We went 3 morning in a row during our stay after trying the Blue Dolphin on our first morning and not enjoying it. Definitely a great home style place for breakfast.

The food is good and prices fair.

We were disappointed after reading the good reviews on the restaurant. We had the special, turkey wrap and it didn't have much flavor. It was getting close to closing time, and my husband was disappointed they were out of pea soup.Won't give it a second try.

Great spot, locally owned and operated by a really great family. Food is fantastic and fast. I always meet and chat with interesting locals and tourists! Highly recommended.

So glad we found this cute little diner! This is a quintessential small town American diner with awesome home cooked food, and breakfast served until they close in the afternoon. Dining out back on the patio along the canal was very relaxing!

Very nice menu sat along the canal in beautiful weather great food they even can give you heavy cream for your coffee. If you ask.

Food was fine but pricey for what it was. Service was polite but not friendly; it also was fairly slow. Nice back patio with about 6 tables overlooking the water.

Breakfast burrito was very good! On the smaller side but very tasty. For the value, it was excellent.

Very quaint place. We sat out back near the water. The staff is very pleasant and accommodating. As African Americans we are very hesitant to frequent certain areas and restaurants bcuz of racism. None of that here very nice people! Food was good! As far them smoking, it would not be sanitary for them to smoke out back where they serve food.

Excellent breakfast. Homemade biscuits with gravy. Crispy bacon. Tasted like Applewood. Coffee was so good that I had three cups. Eggs were cooked perfectly. I asked for hot sauce and was brought three different types to choose from. Very clean. Very friendly, attentive waitress. We'll definitely be coming back.

On our annual trip to LBK, this is our go to breakfast place.The food is wonderful and the staff is great. We usually eat here 3 to 4 times a week. Always sad to eat there the morning we leave to go back home.It's such a homey place. See ya'll again in the fall.

If you are ever on longboat key and are looking for a great breakfast place you should go to Longbeach cafe. Their biscuits are delicious and so is their other food. In addition the people who work there are soooo nice.

Very friendly staff, small inside, with booth seating up to six, good thing we were five, small outdoor eating for fur families. Great breakfast menu, I had bagel an smoked salmon with capers.
